Scandinavia’s professional gamers compete on no less than 3 games

Scandinavia’s largest e-sport tournament on console is arranged by SpelArena together with Jönköping municipally in cooperation with Druidz e-Sport Sweden who is responsible for the tournaments. This is a milestone for the Scandinavian console-scene as there is no establishment for supporting or promoting console players in Scandinavia. Plantronics has stepped in to support and promote the console-scene and Consolidate, as Head Sponsor.

The reason behind this initiative is that the interest for e-sport is large but the commitment between console and PC players is huge as there are but a few working with the console scene. There is a large amount of players but few tournaments so the players are set aside when comparing to PC.

Druidz is Swedens largest E-Sport association that actively work to create a better climate for E-Sport practitioners. Druidz has since the start in 1996 worked with the width of E-Sport and is therefore working with both individuals and teams actively.
