Samsung has always done a good job with designing aesthetically pleasing products, largely using a glossy piano black finish as their signature. The company’s range of portable electronics, like cell phones and digital cameras, typically takes on a slim profile as well. It seems that Samsung has decided to combine these two approaches with the Samsung SyncMaster P2370 LCD Monitor. It’s glossy, it’s slim, and it’s mighty fine-looking.

Both form and function are important in today’s technology world, so how does the 23-inch SyncMaster P2370 LCD stack up against the competition?

We in Druidz used Samsung Syncmaster at Dreamhack Summer together with our 5 Gigabyte Computers. Overall we had the monitors on for a total amount of 3 days, with limited breaks, and they still held up great delivering no-stop high quality performance. They were very easy to assemble and take down, we were ready for a nice hunting session within less than two minutes.

We only tested two games on the monitors, Counterstrike Source and Counterstrike 1.6 but no complaints to be made there, nice flow throughout the whole gaming sessions.

So I give the Samsung SyncMaster P2370 LCD monitor 4 of 5.
